Was in one of the infamous red sheds today and picked up in the "Under $10" bin this DVD. It's well worth the money, starts with a 1947 colour movie about NAC with highly polished DC3s, Lodestars, Electras, Rapides and Fox Moth, all I can say that hostess service has gone downhill since those days. Continues with B & W "Night Flight" about a NAC flight from Christchurch to Paraparaumu in 1951. Then a newsreel item about NZ International Airports with TEAL DC6, and Pan Am and C P Air DC4s (6s?). Continues with the 1953 construction and opening of Wellington then a 1948 Mangere pageant. Then the opening of Auckland and a flight around the Gulf in a Widgeon. Next is "Air Freight" about SAFE and then "The Long White Cloud" about training topdressing pilots, a newsreel about 21 years of the RNZAF and finishes with "Jetobatics"
keep your eye open for it, it's worth having.

I agree, it is an excellent compilation and well worth owning. I have it, and am now keeping an eye out in the Warehouse for the sequels.
