I was over at North Shore yesterday and was told Great Barrier are no longer doing their courier flights south to Taupo as NZ Post ended the contract along with Fly My Sky's service to Whangarei and Sunair's NZ Post contract to Gisborne. Does anyone know when these services ended?
Also, Air Discovery no longer seems to take the NZ Herald to Gisborne from Rotorua. Again when did that end?
It seems the smaller NZ courier services are drying up... what is left these days?
Cheers
Steve

Air Discovery flew a daily service from Rotorua with the NZ Herald Air Napier still continue to fly into Gisborne for NZ Couriers with a Seneca (MSL or WUG), Cherokee 6 (ELK) or Navajo (NPR) Sunair still fly there Aztecs in and out of Gisborne but the early morning in/late afternoon NZ Post freight seems to have gone.
