Hello Wings Over New Zealand Aviation Forum Members! I am an American with a strong (and frankly random ;D ) interest in New Zealand civil aviation, and after stumbling over two interesting photos, I am seeking more! Basically, I am wondering if the kind people here are able to provide me with photos of De Havilland Canada DHC-6 "Twin Otter" aircraft that have operated in (or around) New Zealand under a New Zealand registration. So far, I have discovered only the following two: www.airliners.net/photo/Milford-Sound-Flightseeing/De-Havilland-Canada/1166073/L/planesforsale.co.nz/images/PcQANTAS799%20053.jpgI am sure that there are more photos out there somewhere of these two....or others that existed in the past. I am planning on getting assistance from another community later in creating a few NZ paintjobs for a Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 freeware add-on DHC-6 aircraft. If anyone here is interested on that note, a member of the New Zealand Flightsim Forums community has previously created a very nice rendition of a "Newmans Air" DHC-7 for MS Flight Simulator 2004. Thank you for any assistance, -SeanTK

Thank you for the information on who operated them. Unfortunately, other than those two pictures I linked to above, I am hitting a wall when looking for more info on the Mount Cook, and Coast Air Charter aircraft. I have located one Great Barrier plane (with a US reg for some reason), plus the Royal Tongan ones (with Tongan registrations now...?)
Images of the Mount Cook and/or the Coast Air Charter aircraft would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help so far!

Keep an eye on this blog for some great snippets which I'm sure will include Twin Otters at some stage. 3rdlevelnz.blogspot.com/

Thanks! I've already known about that blog and have combed it over extensively. Some great images of other small NZ airlines that could be useful for future projects!
One more question: On the pictures of the 1970's Mt. Cook scheme (ZK-CJZ), what does the text below the flower on the tail say? After zooming in, I believe I can make out __ Mount Cook __. Obviously, what are the blanks?
Thanks once again. Someone in the flightsim community has agreed to cover the 1970 CJZ livery, 1985 MCO livery, and 1993 MCO livery.

The script under the flower reads "The Mount Cook Lily"

Hi there!
I'm the one seantk mentioned to take over some of the Twin Otter repaints. I'd like to thank Sean for pointing me to this thread and his assistance in getting hold of those great reference pics!
@ nzav8a: Would you give me your permission to include your pics of CJZ (1970) and MCO (1985/87) into my upcoming repaints? If so, you might tell your real name (via PM?) to get proper credit.
Thanks in advance, Markus Berlin, Germany.

Welcome to all our recently joined members, including Markus (wildbillkelso) who is member 1111!
Neat simulator models there. I like the Coast Air scheme on that one.
