Maybe/probably landed in Wellington to clear customs before flying to woodbourne for a major service (C-Check?) at Safe Air. Fairly regular clients of Safe's.

I knew they came through SAFE pretty regularly, but didn't know they would have to clear customs at Welly first. First time I have seen one here at any rate.

Arrived at Woodbourne late this morning, so almost certainly a SAFE servicing.

It is a very nice machine thats for sure. Had forgotten how loud the Orion is when under full power on the brakes.

Nice shots Gavin. It looks like it's in a farm paddock with those surroundings.

It came down the Standard Approach to RWY 34 from North so probably was somewhere else first?

The 3ed of Sams images shows the l/h large window frame of the windscreen looking fine but in shots taken at Woodbourne by Gavin a day later, it looks like it has had a windscreen change, but has the light misled me and it was like that on arrival in wellington too.

Hardly full power Gav with 2 engines not turning.... It did have four running earlier on in the sequence but these guys decided to taxi on two. But even then two engines at full noise was quite impressive.
