Yep correct . . . . . . . 14 as in NZ914 for the Harvard Ok then is that to be the identity? Not NZ948?

We will stick with NZ914 as thats what the plate says. That will also (hopefully) avoid confusion with the staged 948 in the Air Force Museum. Gets confusing though eh?

Righty ho then NZ914. Can't do better than a data plate. A lot of Harvards lost their original plates. I remember hearing that NZ1079 couldn't fly when it got to the US as the data plate was missing and the FAA said no as it had no identity. It got resolved eventually!

If you could get a real Mustang for $150 you would probably end up with a nut that holds a wheel on one or something! ;D

But Baz, it could have been a photo, a painting, anything, the way you were describing it. Now that we know they are models, where are the photos?

Never play with fire or mess with peoples minds on forums is the lesson here. It was a pathetic attempt at humour on my part to tongue in cheek imply I had a Mustang acquired yonks ago from a "disposal" at Omaka. I thought maybe people would get all excited and think I had somehow got something decades ago when yonks was actually last New Year, from the Omaka Aviation heritage centre . . . .play on words . . . .ohhhhhhh never mind . . . . . . . BTW . . the models are the XTREME DETAIL 1:18 scale and they look superb. Two of us customers were lined up buying similar Mustangs at the same time when I got mine.
. . . .also re 914. Not everything HAS to fly. I'm very content with a static Harvard. My frame would never pass go fo it ever to be a flyer . . . . the bits I have would need to find a home on a useable frame.

No problem Peter, it was a little confusing but no harm done mate. Just having a Harvard and Devon is impressive enough. Plus a Dennis fire engine by the looks of things.
