Here are some nice RNZAF photos from WWII that i found in the collection of the late Eric Law, a former wartime RNZAF pilot from Cambridge. Sorry, they have not yet been cleaned up and trimmed. This must have been a new arrival on the station judging by the very interested crowd, so probably taken in 1941. Does anyone recognise where it is? The hangar is the type that is at Woodbourne and Wigram but the surrounding buildings and hills don't match those places as far as I can tell. is it Nelson? Note the red-blue-yellow wing roundels, no white! Parachute training (I think this one has been used in Contact, will have to look it up later) Oxford NZ1219. Interesting colour scheme, it looks like a red or black rudderand nose, yellow sides and maybe camouflaged top and wings?? A great shot of Hudsons and Vincents. Is this Harewood? Harvard Corsair I hope you like them as much as me!

Yip I do like those shots, especially the Corsair, wonder what sort of aircraft the photo was taken from? Thats if its air to air, could be a take off shot

I'd say it's taking off given hat the wheels are a little out of the wings. It is a smashing shot. And it's an Ardmore based machine I believe.
