Anyone know of him?
The reason I ask is because he was featured in a show I watched. He was a Kiwi Spitfire Pilot in the Battle of Britain and Malta.

Thanks Angel. Dave, the show was about peoples family war story's. In this episode it's about the Great Niece of "Pilot Officer Tony Boyd" from the RAAF and his life in the Airforce. They take Her to where he trained, fought died, and she gets to meet people he flew with including Squadron Leader Keith Lawrence. She also gets to fly a Tiger Moth and Spitfire the same plane her Great Uncle did in the Battle of Britain and Malta. They also give her Letters, photos and let her read Lawrence's logbook.Pretty much everything that would take me years to do they did in one episode. Also there is another episode, Episode Seven - "Flight Lieutenant Bill Healey 'The Great Escape'" Gathered around the television one afternoon, the Healey family was watching the classic Steve Mc Queen film, The Great Escape, in much the same way millions have enjoyed it. But this afternoon, in this family, it would be different. Great show! here is the link if you're interested. channelnine.ninemsn.com.au/intheirfootsteps/series1/

I went with Jack Rae DFC and Bar to the last major reunion held in Malta in 2003 - it was fantastic.
A few New Zealanders who flew there during the war attended the reunion and one of these was Keith Lawrence.
I was privilege to have dinner with him and his wife on two or three times during the event and he kept me engaged with numerous stories of his time during the Battle of Britain and the Battel of malta.
Keith is one of three surviving Battle of Britain pilots and he also flew during the battle of Malta.
I have a photo I took of Keith and Jack Rae that I will look for and add to the post.
If you are interested I can supply you with Keith’s contact details - email, addres and phone numbers

As he is living in the UK I wonder if he has heard of 'Project Propeller' ?? www.projectpropeller.co.uk/This is where aircraft owners fly RAF veterans to a selected location for an afternoon 'knees up' and get-together.

Flyinghilly, did you go to the bar where all the pilots used to have a beer and watch the dog fights from a big balcony in Malta? What a show to watch while having a beer! Here are some pics of him from the show I watched aswell as a dual cab spitfire. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.us
