I regret to advise that after much patient waiting, nudging and reminding, the company that has pledged to set up the Wings Over New Zealand Show server has still not yet completed the task. I feel very bad for all the people who I've recorded shows with and promised to have up online soon, becuase the weeks have turned into months and they and I are still waiting.
So I have gotten to the point where I am now going to try to put as many of the already recorded shows as I can up online and make them available now through the original hosting method, simply to get them out there for people to hear. I never intended to put the show on hiatus like this but that is how it has panned out, and this has been out of my hands. I have continued to record shows where and when I can but was under the impression that the server would be up and running some time ago. When it does get going, I'll move all these shows over to it, but in the meantime you'll have to make do with the less popular hosting menthod. Sorry everyone.
Now online are: Show Number Three: Gavin Conroy Show Number Twelve: Jim Mungall and Don Subritzky Show No. Thirteen: Tony Iveson
Thanks Dave! I'm rating each episode after I hear it, and making comment where appropriate.
By way of suggestions, if possible it would be good to hear from someone involved in the restoration of Vampire NZ5772 which looked gorgeous on its relocated plinth at the new gate of RNZAF Base Ohakea.

An interesting suggestion there Zac. It does indeed look very amazing now. Does anyone know who is responsible for the restoration (I realise it was Saftey and Surface section, Planewrights and others on base, but who was the team leader?)

I have just uploaded three new Wings Over New Zealand Shows up to the site. They are"
Episode 17 - Anthony Galbraith - this episode was delayed due to the recording suffering some technical issues which were not realised till later in playback. A huge thanks to the highly skilled sound engineer Stu Russell who has kindly repaired the recording as best he can, resulting in a show that is not perfect but it's listenable - and a darned sight better than the raw recording. Apologies to Anthony and the listeners for the problems. If interest demands I'd be ahppy to do another show with Anthony at a later date. in this episode he discusses his modelling hobby, and his Auster project, plus his work done over the years at Ferrymead. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show.html#Ep17
Episode 18 - Wing Commander Owen Hardy DFC I recorded this just after seeing Owen at the No. 485 (NZ) Squadron Reunion earlier this year. he talks a litle about his Air Force career (he flew Spitfires in WWII and became an ace) and also about his book 'Through My Eyes' www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show.html#Ep19
Episode 20 - Dave Starr Dave flew Fletchers and topdressing DC-3's over the years and here he shares his memories of his flying and loading days. He also talks a little baout growing up next to wartime Ardmore. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZ_Show.html#Ep20
