Cool! Now get photos of the white gunk as it comes off the truck, so we can see how much gets removed! :-)
Edit: Having seen the added photo, it's nice and clean on this side!

Great stuff, thanks for that Colin. Is this the last one to go to a museum now?

Tail number now in the title Don. Some more pics from my camera rather than from my phone. First truck nearly there. Second truck follows close behind. Close up of tail. Close up of details below cockpit. View from left side of truck. View from opposite side. Great to see this aircraft at Warbirds Ardmore and a great draw card for visitors. First time I have had a tour of the facility and they are doing a fantastic job. Well done to all those involved and look forward to promoting it as a must see for tourists and locals alike. Colin

According to the Warbirds website, a certain well-known and appreciated P51 owner put his hand deeply into his pocket to make this happen. As he "doesn't want any fuss" I deliberately have been elusive about his name.
But great gesture.

A hearty well done to the team and thanks to the well-known pilot mentioned above. Bravo! I wonder if his wife will start getting jealous, now that there are two "other women" in his life ? I look forward to getting to Ardmore again, I was very impressed by the model and photo displays when Dave and I visited last year.

Thanks Colin, it looks in a lot better condition than the one at Wanaka. She should scrub up well.

Awesome, my son has never seen one and has asked a few times about the jets New Zealand used to have, I have to take him up there this weekend, can we just walk around o the hangar and go in or do we have to call first to make sure they are open, we'll probably go up on Friday after school
