Have to give credit to Peter Jackson and the WETA guys, when they build replicas they dont take shortcuts. Peter's WW1 Tank replica was at Cambridge armistace day celebrations a couple of years ago - you were hard pressed to recognise it as being wooden. The attention to detail is great. BTW note the fact that the fuel tanks on the Helldiver make up the cockpit sidewalls - I'm sure that is one of those "great idea at the time" concepts that would prove somewhat nasty in (Non - Gorilla) combat! Also need to point out to the yanks that the wires running accross the picture arent arrestor wires!
