I knew a sailor in the Lower Hutt RSA who was on the "Achilles" at the time, and in fact had a battle ensign from the ship which he flew on ANZAC Day. Asked how he came by it it he said" it sort of followed me off the ship".

Neat to see this return to NZ and to the RNZN Museum. There were six men from Cambridge onboard Achilles in the battle, one was killed.
