Keep on the topic guys. If you want to arrange another forum meet please start a new thread, otherwise it will get too confusing. The same goes for the idle Auster chit chat.

Heads Up To All Who Plan To Attend the 30th of September Forum Meet at Don and Robyn Subritzky's Hangars:
I have been talking with Don and Robyn, and some details of this event are now set.
The event will start at 11.00am, Sunday 30th of September 2012
For those who do not yet know, their place is at 17 Escott Road, Dairy Flat, on the Hibiscus Coast. Check Google Maps. It's not too hard to find.
There will be an entrance fee of $5.00 per person, with which Robyn will be kindly preparing a light lunch for all. Pay this on the day and be checked off the list - this is why I need to know your details (your name, your username and who exactly is coming with you). It would not be fair to Robyn if some people simply rock up unbooked and expect lunch.
Currently we have around 55 people planning to attend, which is a big meet. Of them around 10 are possibles and the rest definites.
As well as the chance to meet Don, Robyn and hopefully Steve Subritzky, and see their amazingly rare aircraft collection, we hope to have a couple of guest speakers.
One will be John parker from Australia who is currently working with Ralph Cusack on the restoration to flight of a Beaufort. Ralph was planning to attend himself but John says he has just had to pull out of the trip.
We also may have a verteran or two speak, and perhaps someone from the Avspecs team if they can make it on the day to talk about the Mosquito. We are also hoping some folks from the HARS Black Cat Catalina team in Australia will be attending and perhaps one of them might tell us a little about their operations and organisation.
There will hopefully be a few more surprises to, but right now it's all a way off and a bit fluid.
I'm beginning to wonder if we need a microphone and amp and speaker for the guest speakers since the attendee numbers is beginning to grow fast now. Do any locals have one they could bring please?
If you have any further ideas for the day, please email me on dave_daasnz@hotmail.com

Hi Dave, I will be along for sure with at least one and possibly two friends. Thanks heaps for the organisation and I look forward to seeing Don and his collection again, I haven't caught up since his shift from the airfield.

There is a group of Australian forum members/readers also coming along from the HARS Black Cat PBY team and I'm told that we should be able to get a small talk from one of their members on their operations of their Catalina, which will be interesting.

Sure thing Wayne, it'll be good to see you again. Regartding Ardmore I will be tied up most of the day, busy with the veterans etc. So though I may spot a few of you around, I cannot unfortunately arrange a forum gathering as such there - that's what the next day is all about. And our other two Moderators will not be present eithers sadly, Craig cannot make it over from Aussie no matter how much he'd like to, and Don will be in the UK. But it would be great if the rest of you can designate a place to meet up and form a forum area. If not sure on the day, listen out for someone rabbiting on about Austers with a crowd of bored, uninterested people around him, that will be the group. (Just kidding Baz!)
