Wal and the guys must be really on the "gravy stroke" now, to committ to a date that soon.
Having seen that bare fuse just out of the jig at Glynns a few years ago, this is incredible. Truly one of the planets most astounding warbird efforts.
We are blessed to have the opportunity to witness it.
I wonder if we will see a DVD about the restoration, in similar vein to the excellent production re the Spitfire "Marion."? For any who haven't seen that DVD, get a copy. Its great. Very profesh and just what us warbird resto geeks love.

Great. Two birds with one stone. Sounds like an extremely good weekend. Thanks Dave. I have spoken to my dear wife and said I would offer accommodation to a couple of people. It will be a basic Mattress on the floor in the rumpus. We are used to this as we have a couple of young adult kids who often have friends stay over so no problem. Transport in Auckland is again no problem as I will be at both events. I live in the North Shore. Depending on the start at Dons on the Saturday I could possibly squeeze in a quick trip to MoTaT. Just PM me and I shall get back to you with further info.

Hi all- Just wondering if anyone is heading up from Blenheim or south..A friend and I would love to attend, i'm originally from Auckland but studying down here currently and would love to be back for the first flight and to see the Subritzky collection again.. Of course we will contribute to the costs of the trip. Cheers- Ryan
