Different set to the ones that went around Ohakea, these ones look newer, they've now increased the size of the hole right over the top of the airframe. last ones I saw looked like it was just one side missing.

I was out with a mate last night who is working on the project in Texas and was back in NZ for a week. The prototype airframe is in Texas at L3. The system is still undergoing factory software development and testing and is more or less on track. I don't think the prototype is due back in NZ until mid 2008. Sounds like it is all going well and will be an awesome system when complete.

The latest isue of the Air Force magazine arrived in the letter box yesterday and it has a few pages plus more photos of the 757 in progress, plus an article on the the re-wiring phase of the C-130 upgrade.
