Thank you Bruce, I love the air to air photos of the bandits, very cool shots and a piece of NZ aviation history for sure. Am i right there are no bandits left flying in NZ now? I think the cityjet smiley logo on the tail was kinda forward thinking for the 1980s.....in a time when most airlines still had ya standard conservative style paint job.......a cartoon style smiley face was a bit outside the box. CityJet was 1999, so it was quite a lot after the 80s. It is a cool logo though. I helped chose the red paint, and define exactly where the red section went, since the graphics designer couldn't get it to work around the shape and panel lines!

Gary, there's already a fair bit of prior discussion on the forum about Bandierantes, you might find something of interest if you have a search back through the archives.

That is "provided the search engine actually works" which it doesn't most times I try to use it lately (thanks ProBoards for providing a broken system).

And once again I will say put rnzaf.proboards and the keywords you're looking for into Google and you'll find everything you want.
Forget the forum's search facility, it's a piece of shit.

Actually the new one seems pretty good (can limit to date ranges and stuff, for instance), it just errors a significant percentage of the times that you try to use it, making it impractical.

Garysoden, I guess it means I'm on my way to being an old crusty geezer if I've flown both OAA and TZL! Brings a tear to the eye to see them like that, mind you TZL was alway a 'heap' as I remember.
