I thought it's all animation, but just having a quick look at the trailer, yeah that might be a bit of a laugh.

Wow, this looks great! I definitely want to see it. Looks as good, if not better than Cars, which I thought was fantastic. Some really neat aircraft in that too. And the graphics are far batter than Red Tails.

Wasn't one made in the Queenstown region (again) using the Super Air dual ZK-EGX?

Wasn't one made in the Queenstown region (again) using the Super Air dual ZK-EGX? This movie was called 'Wild Blue', information is here www.nzvideos.org/wildblue.html. randomly saw this movie in Abu Dhabi, a bit of a hollow film really...

Also, one operator in the US has converted his Air Tractor into the film's main character, which rightly so is an ag plane. After all, they fertilise and spray the ground that the world eats off and would easily get off a carrier without the cat

How about Capricorn One? There was a superb chase between Telly Savalas in a Stearman ag machine and some choppers.

I have never enjoyed the presence of a hovering Hughes 500 after that movie. One question though, what was Savalas actually going to dust out in the bare moonscape of the desert?

Maybe he was one of these mad enthusiasts who owns an ag plane for the sheer hell of it?

I love that scene:
'You see that sign? ...AAA crop dusting ...which A am I? ...all three, pervert!'
(Or words to that effect, cracks me up).

About time we had a film where the hero is a topdressing aircraft But it looks like the hero gets converted from an Airtractor into a SF-260TP in order to win the race...

Not my work, unfortunately. I have seen this picture on several forums, and the image above was linked from Kermit Weeks' Facebook page. It's his Mossie in the photo.
The photo was taken at Pioneer Airfield in Oshkosh, and the the aircraft are all residents of the EAA Museum. I think the photo was first posted on the EAA facebook page.
I agree it's a great idea for a photo!
Cheers,
Brett
