Nice photo of SMB, I did quite a bit of flying in that while it was with Auckland Aero Club. Sad to see it go, it was a nice machine, great cross country load carrier, hope the new owner enjoys it.

So these pic’s taken last Saturday 24/4/18, was asked by the ferry pilot not to share for one week so here they are a week after the event. While he was a little protective he did say he couldn’t stop me from posting, he also mentioned she had around 80 hours on her so a very new Kingair! Just a beautiful day out in the Tasman Sea. Taking on fuel for the flight direct to Ohakea, in the back ground you can see ex NZ 1885 waiting to be shipped off the island, more on her soon. You can see the covered up markings with a little bit of the roundel peaking through. Three more to come apparently, I guess they may or may not come my way?

The old and the new, ex NZ 1885 and VH-ZPE soon the be NZ ? Following a few pic’s I have taken as this machine has been dismantled for eventual shipping off the island. Wings off engines next. Good pic for a caption? Nose high to remove tail feathers. Plan is to ship her off as she sits, problem is there is one small stretch of road which is too narrow, so talk is she is barged to the ship then craned onto the deck, more pic’s of this when it happens!?

ZK-TPL and ZK-ECE arrived yesterday and took off today mid morning heading for Port Macquarie. Yes we have a new air terminal telling everybody where they are.

There was an Australian Cessna 210 VH-ZIO that went through Lord Howe a few weeks ago on it's way to NZ. I know the pilot who brought it over to do a mapping survey. Did you happen to see/photograph it by any chance, planecrazy?

If you happen to remember the date and pilots name and he doesn't mind, could you post it up here? Thank you.

That's a funny coincidence, I saw VH-ZIO taxiing at Ardmore this evening, it caught my attention because I couldn't quite read the registration from the distance I was at but thought it was VH-Z something. So presumably it's going back to Aus and not an import?

As he's no longer in Hamilton I can't ask him so better not publicly post it but I'll PM you his name for your personal record. You may get to ask him for permission yourself on the return trip!

Just now heard a single engine turbine overfly, looked on Flightaware PA 750XL ZK-KEJ just overflew going Hamilton to Coolangatta direct, estimated time of flight 9.10 hours, that's along day in the office!

ZK-KEJ featured HERE on the MRC Aviation blog five days ago. It is headed for Poland where it is going to be used as a skydiving jump ship.

Steve Death in that one. He put a photo on Facebook yesterday of it, it has a really striking colour scheme, orange and white with a sharks mouth

Well anyone heading east today (for instance) is less likely to need a stop, due to a generous push!

Right now he's between Port Hedland and Cocos. First hop was Hamilton-Cooli direct, then over the hill to Toowoomba.

Took me a while to "click" to the VH- or ZK-ZIO - very clever!

Jagged ECE taking off while at work, TPL I only saw a rear on view, both on their way to Norfolk then NZ after a couple of weeks in OZ. Just checked on FlighAware both on Norfolk Island now.
