Great stuff. This is to replace the CT4 or be the next step up from it? Will certainly fill a gap and the RNZAF could branch out into FAC work/training/expertise. WOuld be a good combat-related feather in its cap.

I'd heard a rumour of this order a couple of weeks ago. Interested to hear what advice and information the RNZAF has sought from the RAAF, because I'm aware the Aussies weren't enamoured by the variant after reviewing it.
The second part was that 14 Sqn is to be reformed to fly them. If true, I don't think that flying a small number of turbo prop pilot trainers is suitable for the reformation of one of the premier RNZAF fighter squadrons.

Perhaps the Aussies didn't get to sell 100,000 Tonnes of butter as part of the deal !

Definitive, well I heard it first hand from a mate. He told me he had read it on the internet, and not one of those dodgy newspaper or TV news sites either.
Ummm, hang on, - he is a member here, of this forum. Hmmm...

Well we have already gone past the day to which was the big announcement, seemed more lively with real information two decades back, Our F-16s, today appears Rumour is what it is ... that famous statement ... sorta follow history ways back to 1938 and a lotta paper waving ...
