Not only the extra cost because they are airworthy, but the cost of getting CAA approval to put the first of type on the register, the insurance costs, the costs of maintenance on an obsolete engine type, they're all gonna add up Beags, just so that a ho-hum and largely unpopular type gets back into NZ skies.
You might as well forget it and buy something more realistic like Glyn's Mossie.

Even the Skyhawks would be cheaper to maintain than the 339 I would suspect....not that you would want all of them, heck even 1 would be awesome

yep, just the one scheme from start to finish. I think they did a European 1 scheme on 1 at 4TTS, or it might have been a blunty. there was an image on here a while ago. and I presume they were all the same configuration for external attachments. Bungle that you the S and S man?

Owning and operating a 339CB would be an unpopular thing, compared to many other similar types, but it was not an unpopular machine with the guys and girls who flew them...
