I came across this photo in the New Zealand herald and it intrigues me, what was this boat called in NZDF service (I assume RNZN?) and what was it used for. I wonder if it's still around now. New Zealand Herald, 12 September 1942 FOR DEFENCE PURPOSES: The 55-foot motor-sailer recently built by Mr. C. Wild, of Stanley Bay, for Mr. B. Spencer, has been taken over for defence purposes.

Could have used as a resupply vessel for the Coastwatchers in the SWPA?
There is a book which I did have that's list every Ship/ Boat severed in the Navy from the Russian scare up to the Type 12's.
Had flick though the Official History "The Pacific" in Coastwatcher Chapter, it lists a number of small boats and one trading schooner based out of Fiji. That boat looks like a Ketch to me not a schooner.
