What the heck has that got to do with things, beeza? Baz, it's not my fault someone overseas has bought the aircraft! I'm only stopping people from further speculation and embarrassment.

Geez Dave, way to burst a guy's bubble! Now I'm going to have to find something new to speculate and theorize over! Still, sounds like Avspecs have found a nice little business niche to leverage their ka114 experience.

I'm aware of who the owner is etc, but it doesn't change me being excited to have her back in NZ to fly, regardless of how brief that time may be. Great news for AvSpecs, and for those lucky enough to see her fly!

As TV959/ZK-FHC has moved out of her home at Avspecs and there's apparently another Mossie in her place, I thought it was time to bump this thread in anticipation.
At a forum meet a little while ago Wal Denholm said PZ474/NZ2384/ZK-BCV/N9909F was next up for restoration and would hopefully fly by Easter 2018.
Bring it on! Is anyone else in awe of the fact a third airworthy Mosquito project is now at Ardmore?

Photos on Facebook show the fuselage of this Mossie has arrived at the AvSpecs hangar. Great stuff!

What you mean is they have shifted it from one Avspecs hangar where it's been being worked on for a very long time, to their other hangar nextdoor so they have more space for assembly.

They are private photos from one of the Avspecs workers, John. Not public.

Sorry JF! Baz's right, there's not much to see at the moment.
Dave - thanks, I didn't realise that.

Actually I realised later they are not set to private, which is why I copied one of the photos to the Wings over New Zealand Show Facebook page. Go there and have a look John.

AVSPECS have updated their Facebook page earlier today with 4 new photos, showing latest progress with PZ474 - wings now joined to fuselage by the look of what they posted.
Hope this one gets to stay in NZ until at least after a flying appearance at WoW 2018.
