A message from Ray Deerness this evening to me revealed another Bristol Fighter has been registered today.
"Sometime after 1708, ZK-VTV appeared on the register.
Peter Hallen in Australia was quick to inform me.
The c/n is C749 which isn't the "849" that used to be in the workshop setting. I'm guessing that it's come from the roof of the barn.
You can post it if you like. Yes that will be three and obviously the door is open for another with the Omaka Museum aircraft.
I cant find anything about C794 yet. Not on the Aerodrome list. It is one of 300 built by The British and Colonial Aeroplane Company with a Falcon III engine. Serials ranged between C751 to C1050.

I was roadtripping the north island last week with my old man and we popped into Hood on our way through, but not much was happeneing... apart from a certain F2b being pushed into a large hangar on the eastern side of the field... I looked for the marking of the original based there but I saw a very blank fuselage which gave me this exact suspicion - yet another aircraft resurrected! Wonderful news!
