Truly, truly awesome artwork Dave, indeed spellbinding for one such as I~ Many thanks for sharing that- There is another chap out there too, his name is Adam Toobey, goes under the title of (www.) "The Finest Hour" (com) I believe... Just such riveting detail these guys... (the-pun-accidentally-on-purpose!-Sorry, couldn't help it!) I have to say though that Poitr's work just does the hair-of-the-neck thing for me too, and his heart is in the right place with it all too. Also, I fully concur with that whole Polish thing during the War, as I have read abit about it all. Britain was so bloody lucky to receive so many of Poland's very well-trained aircrew so early in the battle. RAF 303 Polish Sqn. were THE top-scorers at certain stages of the BoB. ~ Well, that certainly made my night seeing that, there is almost definately a limit an artist can go with paintbrushes, the battle used to be trying to match the airbrushes, but phew! ~ CG is another style entirely. I do have Adobe CS3 and Illustrator but alas I am but still a very humble student with it all still. But that's still good, keeps one in one's place and that was just pure inspiration to fill-your-boots-with!! -Many thanks again for sharing the link Dave ~
