Hey thanks, got a great rush off that...!
I've been into Floyd since about '67, even caught them live at Western Springs in '88- My eldest said recently they were releasing a new album soon...
Really awesome, sounds like yet another 'aural classic' from them... and perhaps their last-
It's so sad Rick Wright has passed on- it was so sudden, and his contribution was so huge... I've got all their music...
But they all didn't think Floyd would ever play together again when Roger Waters went his own way, but the others carried on, and much later Roger came back just for that Aid gig...
I don't expect Rick will be back, (naturally), but you never know what may happen yet...
We are indeed blessed to receive 'The Endless River' though... These chaps were like what the TSR-2 was to Aviation at it's time, but thankfully as a band they were allowed to 'evolve' and add their own very special DNA to Music...
I've had much pleasure from Pink Floyd ~ Many thanks, that little taste will keep me until the album is released !
~ Cheers

Very Division Bell-esque! My favourite from that album is High Hopes

The snippets sound as you'd expect from Gilmour et al - crystal clear yet hauntingly melodic. There's a touch of Floyd's distant past in those tracks too, very nostalgic sounding. On a slightly different tack, Baron, that link to the Turkish video site is interesting; enter in Canakkale Savasi (Chanak War - what the Turks called the Dardanelles Campaign) reveals some fascinating clips including this one - a documentary about the conflict, although in Turkish has some terrific footage. www.izlesene.com/video/canakkale-savasi-belgeselistemel/3179411#Sorry, thread drift. Probably the last last Pink Floyd album, although who knows what Gilmour might get up to in future? He has a secret fetish for electronic trance music.

Much like Fb6 for me and Floyd, except from Xmas 1966! Sat up on the hill in the pine trees at the Western Springs concert, amazing spread of ages there in family groups. Let's say the 'psycadelic puha' was being passed around freely. Amazing concert, but one of the first affected by the councils new noise laws.....
Pretty sure what I'm going to be getting for my 65th birthday in December (other than Winnies Gold Card)!
Cheers, Pete M.

Just listened to "louder than Words" on that Turkish site. Wow! thats the classic Pink Floyd sound alright. Definitely going to get the new album. Its much more satisfying than the latest U2 (forced) release, which was thoroughly disappointing.

Good relaxing stuff, but not in the class of the attached link: Full tracks from The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn..my top Floyd album of all time. Great memories of the late 60's and early '70's! (what I can remember of that time)!!!!! Cheers, Pete M.
