I wonder if it is 'L' for Late Production (ZK-TVA is like a early production one, with landing skids).

Man they are certainly building quite the air force! (Or should that be flying corps?) Is this one heading overseas?

No, it's our new strike wing, these are our very own stealth aircraft, wooden, too low and too slow for radar to detect.

No, it's our new strike wing, these are our very own stealth aircraft, wooden, too low and too slow for radar to detect. Seriously though, that's been in the pipeline for quite a few years now. With the DH-4 and now this it looks like they might be catching up on a bit of work that's been on the back-burner for a while. There's still a few projects I can think of that still could need attention. i.e. Avro 504K - repairs to the original; Avro 504K replica repairs - assuming it will be repaired, it is still registered. Albatros B.II - apparently this is to be returned to airworthy. Bristol Fighter F.2B - the former static display in the AHC or is this the one in Poland? Are they still intending to produce a reproduction BE2f? Do they have a second Albatros D.II? Koloman Mayrhofer did build 2 for them. The ex-Kermit Weeks Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter needs restoring. The ex-Aerospace Education Center, Arkansas Sopwith Camel needs restoring. BTW, some of this based on conversations with normally fairly reliable sources but it may not be 100% correct so feel free to make corrections or even add to the list as necessary.

If this is the long-term BE2 then it would be this one, photo'd in 2009. The original Avro 504K is repaired and back in the OS&R Co. Hangar. Add another couple: Maurice Farman F.40 ex RAF Museum Fokker E.III (x2) from Achim Engels - sister ships to the TAVAS Fokker E.III And the LVG C.VI built in France.

CBE? I wonder if CBG will be re-allocated to a TVAL type at some point soon?
I love the BEs so it's lovely to read of another making it onto the register. Wouldn't the Farman, or a Caudron (thinking of Wigram), be fascinating to see at a future flying day?

Of just as much interest is the D.H.4 lurking in the right hand side of Brett's pic. Can't wait to see that flying in the flesh.

Ditto, I think it was in Aeroplane recently but I've seen nothing since then. Except for a Kermit Weeks Selfie or five with it!

There is somewhere. looking forward to seeing it get more publicity; the DH.4 is a real classic that gets far too little attention. Mind you, I don't think anyone was able to predict how much attention the Bee Eee was going to get from TVAL, bearing in mind the amount of negative publicity it got back in the day.

About the DH4, "Like the cheese, all good things take time." I know it's in the hangar and a bunch of aircraft arriving, getting assembled and flying. At least something is happening. Finally we got to see the silver Snipe outside on the weekend and the BE2c flying. How good is that?
