Thanks for the feedback all.
No flypasts from Warbirds today (would have been ok a couple of hours later).
I've put together a video from Friday
I understand that Dave P was not available from this afternoon, so back to waiting for the weather the a test pilot to align!

Back at work and on "Wings" again........... weather in Auckland will no doubt be perfect but no pilots again my guess. Is Keith coming back after the Albatros incident or staying in UK. Glad he is ok.

Just looked at Auckland weather forecast for today to Sunday. Showers, cloudy, showers, rain, rain. Its frustrating on this side of the Ditch so I can only imagine the levels on your side. Also thinking about Warren and the guys at Avspecs. So near and yet so far.... Oh well. Guess I shall just stay glued to my Wings screen here at work

Haven't seen any showers this morning, and only stuff showing on rain radar is a fairly stationary band off the Coromandel. Tomorrow looks probably good?

Quite aside from the weather putting a literal damper on potential ops on Sunday - I daresay I was rather optimistic in deciding to go - two separate slips blocked my way home, meaning I didn't get home until 11pm! A 396km trip became a 749km one! An ill wife had then taken my attention from TV959 for the first part of this week.
Hopefully we hear some good news in due course. It'll be worth the wait to see an RNZAF-schemed Mosquito take to our skies.

Conditions still did not look that choice at Ardmore in the T-28 video. I guess the Navy aircraft is more used to wet conditions

Wasn't too bad out there. No actual rain, reasonable cloud base and visibility, not much wind. I left as they were prepping the T28.
