Who knew that rubbish film was based on real life? From the Arrow newspaper (Sydney, NSW) dated Friday 29 July 1932: PASSENGERS on the Continental Airway have just had a thrill they are not likely to forget. Husna Hussain, a beautiful young Indian snake dancer, was travelling from London to Brussels to perform before the Belgian Royal family. Just before Amsterdam, Husna opened the hat box which contained the snakes, to feed them. As she was caressing Hector, the other one called Otul crept out of the box. The consternation among the passengers can easily be imagined, especially as they knew that the reptiles still had their poison-bags intact. The Indian girl managed to get her snake back into the box before anyone was harmed. Husna Hussain is the daughter of an Indian barrister, and has been engaged by a West End theatre to do Oriental dances
