Ok Dave I will play that one too.
I thought I had some more somewhere, but this one was taken at Wigram at Wings & Wheels earlier this year.
When I saw the Subritskys one I was astounded at how big they are on their legs.
Cheers
Anthony

Hi to all. For some beaut pics of NZ101 before delivery to NZ, ( and plenty of other top pics) check out the following site: www.flightglobal.com/StaticPages/images.htmlBe prepared to spend a few hours there, you won't be disappointed! Vildebeest pics are on page two of the '30's Military section. Cheers, Pete M.

What a fantastic collection, thanks for the link Pete!
I have only looked at the Vilde photos so far but wil spend more time here for sure.
Looking at the photo of NZ101 flying with Mutt Summers at the control, it looks like the info I read about the first 12 for NZ having folding wings cannot be true.
Has anyone else got Vilde and Vinnie photos to share here?

A photo of NZ 123 a Mk 4 Vildebeeste. Note the auxillary fuel tank found mostly on Vincents.

That's a superb photo Shamus! I guess that must be at Bell Block? I don't think it's Omaka, is it?

Also note that the Vincent is missing the stainless steel exhaust collector ring. Surprisingly we have not found one although their were plenty around. All vildebeest and vincent had them and also the Baffins, and Walrus. Anyone who knows of one anywhere we would like to hear.
