Subritzky Vickers Vildebeestt: Is it possible to see it?

I'm doing a quick trip to New Zealand and will be visiting North Shore Airfield, north of Auckland.
An internet search suggests the Subritzky family collection is housed near there.

I'd appreciate some local knowledge:
Is it possible to see the Vildebeest?
Is it best to contact them beforehand?

Is there anything else around there I should make a point of seeing?
