Seconded. Glad to have pre-ordered and am stupidly excited. Zac, I have Nick here and showing Gav's previous 'Precious Metal' we are both off to Wiggy museum this morning , but this is a no-brainer being "stupidly excited" I'd better post this link up on the NZFF site, just for us real plane nutters.

My copy arrived at work about ten minutes ago. If the boss wasn't sitting five metres away my nose would be in it!

The newest Wings Over New Zealand Show covers this book, as I caught up with Gavin at Temora and we had a chat for the podcast. In this episode Gavin discusses his latest book, “Fighters and Bombers”, as well as talking about doing photo shoots around the world with aeroplanes in New Zealand, Canada, the USA, Australia and in the United Kingdom. Topics include the Temora Museum, Jerry Yagen’s Military Aircraft Museum, flying with the Lancaster, Messerschmitt Me 262 and the de Havilland Mosquito and flying the last air to air photo session with the world’s last flying Avro Vulcan. www.cambridgeairforce.org.nz/WONZShow/2015/12/gavin-conroy-fighters-and-bombers/

Thank you Gavin, found a copy on Christmas day, I knew before I unwrapped it which book it was, great work. I follow Keith Skilling's progress, knew his father when I was with Rex at Taieri, and he was CFI at the aero club, and Keith was in short pants and going to school. isc

Have had some great flights with Keith over the years and he has been really helpful in getting text together for the book. I think this photo sums it up for me when we were up for a flight in KA114.

Keith in his element. Enjoyed working with Keith - he was my boss on Andovers in UK and on 1 Squadron.
