Hi all, Just got a txt from a fellow forumite alerting me to some news he spotted at the Key Publishing Forum: Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar Mosquito by Zac Yates, on Flickr Fantastic news for UK and European enthusiasts, but also great news for us as we get another Mosquito restoration (possibly an aircraft already in NZ??) and hopefully another Mosquito to see fly in NZ. Wicked. I'm excited! EDIT: I can't see NZ2308 on the Platinum Fighters website anymore...

After a somewhat difficult show season in the UK with the loss of the Gnat at Oulton Park and the tragedy at Shoreham, it's great to read some good news. Especially regarding a type I have a particular link too. A Mossie in UK skies.....tomorrow is not soon enough.

There's still been no update about the ID or even which variant it is via the BHHH Facebook page, but they do have a placeholder area on their website for the project: www.flyaspitfire.com/d-h-98-mosquito/

Is there still progress on Avspecs side with the rebuild? I don't know if an aircraft ID was ever announced or even rumoured beyond my own mention of NZ2308 back then, and that was only because I checked Platinum's website and the listing had gone. Now the Mosquito Pathfinder Trust seems to have ditched DZ542 and gone with NZ2308, going by their recent Facebook activity.
