Hi,
If possible looking for the service number and Christian name of the above mentioned 608 Squadron Mosquito pilot. Pranged Mosquito Mk.XVI PF505 6T-D 17/18th April 1945 on return from Berlin. Also Flight Lieutenant J Henry NZ42691 RNZAF, 2nd pilot aboard a 635 Squadron Lancaster FTR 6/7th April 1945, made PoW.
Thanks in advance

Greetings Smudger,
NZ402986 George Cuthbert Dixon. To the best of my knowledge Dixon was never commissioned. Chorley's 'F/L' may be an error for F/S?
Your man Henry is not RNZAF. NZ42691 belongs to a flight rigger named Eric Ralph Thomson. Also I am unable to find in Chorley a loss/PoW for a Henry on 6/7 Apr 45.
Cheers, Errol

Hi Errol,
Thank you for your help. I will check the Henry info, typo on my part, it was 5/6th January 1945 with Henry, PoW on return from Hannover aboard a 635 Squadron Lancaster PB564 F2-H. Chorley does not record him as a New Zealander, the Loss Card records firstly 48827, then 42691 against the name?
Thanks again Errol.

Steve,
The only New Zealand Henry to be PoW was a Spitfire pilot with 41 Sqn (10 Feb 45).
