Hi all, I've got a MK1a 'bone dome' minus it's visor and track. Just wondering if anyone can tell me why it has been painted dayglow orange? Does anyone know if this was ex-RNZAF? Was it common practice? If so, what role were they used in? There are no other markings in, or on it (other than the manufactures) to give any clues. Thanks Jason.

I have no real clue but given the colour it may have been used in training such as Wet Drill exercises (winching victims from the water by helicopter, etc).
