Thanks Dave. I've wanted to build Keith Park's Hurricane for SO LONG but previously got stuck on Code Letters and the 'artwork'. We had a long discussion over at Kiwimodeller about the 'dog' and eventually Calum resolved to make his own Cerberus decals, which he kindly shared with me. [Calum used serial P2520 on his, which seems equally possible ... or perhaps there were 2 x OK-1s?] Personally I am convinced from the one photo which shows them that Park's Code Letters OK-1 were White, although logically they would be Light Grey during this period. In B&W the 'hue' indicating colour seems to me to perfectly match the White of the adjacent roundel. The Hasegawa kitset has been kinda superceded by Airfix's new tooling, but I still rather like it, especially the pronounced 'fabric effect' ... One day I hope to do a 1/24 scale Airfix version of the aircraft ...

Very very nice Wally! You must suffer from some form of obsessive compulsive disorder huh?

I sometimes call it OCD but its just run-of-the-mill Virgo perfectionism I think ... combined with the model building bug ... and an interest in military history, especially NZ military aviation history ... I try to be as thorough and accurate as I can be.

Wally......... now that is not a model...... its a piece of art. Beautiful workmanship and the finish is superb. Now all I have to do is to arrange to pick up my two P.51s !

Wally, can you please state what exact paints you used for your Hurricane? I must know!
