Hmm, that is a good question. Did he mean Dolphin, as in the Sopwith Dolphin talked about later?

Hmm, that is a good question. Did he mean Dolphin, as in the Sopwith Dolphin talked about later? Yes, it's a transcription error - the differing accents didn't help the transcriber, who obviously is lacking in subject knowledge, understandably. I've flagged it (and skirt/scout) to them.

I re-listened and thought too he said Dalton, so understandable on the transcriber's part.
