This one is not a model for the lighthearted!! Frustrating instructions, a number of inaccuracies (some easily corrected, others not). However with a good file (the nose profile is just wrong), lots of filler and sanding some elbow grease and constant checking with drawings, quite a good model can result. I used the Dash 8 stencil decals put out by Nazca Decals to make up for the extreme lack of surface detail on the model, the results appear to be quite good. The livery of course doesn't need too much of an explanation LOL. Beautiful work Harry, that version of the Ansett livery was always my favourite. I’ve not heard good things about the Hobbycraft kit but you’ve shown all it needs is some skill and effort. Bravo!

Yeah, I could have improved it further if I filled in all of the cabin windows and painted the cockpit glass and used the provided Nazca window decals (smaller/more accurate), however in this scale I'd rather live with transparencies...not too bad though
