I have received an enquiry from someone in Australia regarding a Wirraway that was supposedly left at the Silverstream Railway Museum in the Hutt Valley.
Can anyone supply any information on this aircraft?
Thanks
P.S. Could that be ZK-BZO?

Probably the Ceres. At one time there was the Ceres, 2 x Harvards, an Avenger and a C47/DC3 at Silverstream. I have photos of them all somewhere at home.
They've all been relocated now, I think the Avenger and C47 are with GPS, although the Avenger is currently at Classic Fighters and I think both Harvards are now flying from Ardmore. I don't know where the Ceres went.

The Ceres went to WONZer curtiss, and after he sold it to Aussie (from my last link above): From "A Consolidated History of The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA28 Ceres Agricultural Aircraft - V2.0 Jan 2014" by Peter Reardon ZK-BPU: "On 16 May 2007, Paul Wheeler advised that this project, which is now located at the Queensland Air Museum (QAM), Caloundra, is a composite of two Ceres: CA28-4 (VH-CED/ZK-BPU) and CA28-9 (VH-CEL/ZK-BZO). It is believed therefore, that the windscreen, canopy and rear hatch on the QAM fuselage section probably came from one or both of these aircraft."

All I have left from Ceres ZK BZO is the maintenance manual plus a lingering memory of extensive corrosion and the smell of superphosphate.

The above quote would appear to have been taken from the Queensland Air Museum website which states: Please note the significant difference. Paul Wheeler's project was claimed to be in Queensland not at the Queensland Air Museum. For the record, QAM does hold the cockpit section of Ceres msn 28-19 which is now identified as VH-CEU. The aircraft that were at Silverstream were: Avenger NZ2505 - currently at Classic Flyers (not Fighters as indicated above) and will returning to GAPS at Gisborne. DC-3 ZK-BYF which is now at GAPS Gisborne painted up as "NZ3547" Ceres ZK-BZO now in Australia. Refer Ron's note above. Harvard NZ1040 now registered and flying in Australia as VH-XXH. According to ADF serials it is registered to Cairns Airport Hangars Ltd. Harvard NZ1057 now registered and flying in New Zealand as ZK-TVI registered Warbird Adventure Rides Ltd
