What's the plan for the DC-3? Is it staying in NZ or heading overseas?

Registered (ZK-JGB - Jean Gloria Batten) to Airscapade Affairs Ltd, Te Anau. Perhaps with Classic Fighters Omaka's Women In Aviation theme the Jean Batten DC-3 might play a bigger part in the airshow?

ZK-JGB was issued C of A on Tuesday, JEM Aviation are just trying to sort pilots out!
JEM have stated it will stay at Omaka for the short term.
I HOPE that means for next years airshow, having 3 Daks in formation in NZ a first since......?

The last such occasion (two actually) I know about was in December 2000 during the SPANZ book launching tour. Richard Waugh and I organised three DC-3s being ZK-AMS, ZK-AWP and ZK-DAK to each carry a full load of passengers on an 8 day New Zealand tour. On day one, 8 December, the three aircraft flew line abreast from overhead Hamilton Airport for about 20 minutes during a photo shoot by John King. Then on departing Queenstown several days later the three aircraft flew follow the leader in a climbing spiral to get height on to clear the town enroute to Wanaka.

I can recall three DC-3 topdressers (along with a number of DHC-2 Beavers) doing a line-astern fly-past at Gisborne Airport sometime around 1979 or 1980 or 1981.
I don't think it was at an airshow, but more likely at an air pageant/airport open day.
That was back when Fieldair was a huge part of operations at Gisborne. And I'm fairly sure Lawson Field was still alive too.
