You would find theKiwis are in a Combat Support role, embedded with 2 SECFORSQN at Darwin and down at Batchor Airfield with ADG’s, 13SQN- Tankers, Air Load Teams, Cooks, 2EHS Darwin and Batchor Airfield , and the Air Task Group HQ at Darwin
It’s a shame there is no air assets this year, but I’m wondering if some of the FAMC guys are here as there an A400 which is doing AIr to Air Tanking etc.

Oh.... and lets see who nearly runs into an AWACS this time...... Why would they do that?... surely they'd get an early warning....

And someone lost a drop tank...... Shades of Spike Millighan..... " Has anyone seen our gun ?"..... Well at least it wasn’t the Japs this time round, just the yanks dropping their shit all over the place again. Mind you I’ve been to Delamere Air Weapons Range after the Yanks have been though there and you would think in this day in age of all the gadgets and widgets on aircraft and ordinance that they could at least hit the bloody targets on the range, but no they drop them all over place incl the access road onto the road leading range control the year I visited and in one yr before I got Tindal they almost wiped range control off the map.

Ahhhhhhh Grasshopper......very good connections tell me otherwise....... I sort of heard about that one when some muppet of knuckle head wasn’t watching where he was going. It makes you wonder what the hell the Knuckle Head was doing at the time as there is bugger all to see apparently at 30,000ft unless you mistaken AEW Aircraft for a Airborne Tanker the story goes.

Indian Sukhoi’s for first time too. Shame can’t get there.. Just had two of them fly over the house for the first time and they are truly bloody big jets compared to the yank made F16,F15 and F18’s that have gone over this week.

Knucks being of a certain age,he(or she(Knucket?) was probably texting or updating their social media...
