Hi Guys, Is the RNZAF involved in an exercise at the moment? Over the last couple of days there's been a pair NH 90s flying over the HBC and there also seems to be an increase in C-130 flights over the house also, just interested.

What is the HBC?
I know there was a big naval exercise on in Auckland, and an emergency response exercise at Auckland Airport too this week.

Dave & Phil, Thanks for the replies, was kind of interesting seeing the 2 NH90s flying over the house. Dave HBC= Hibiscus coast/Whangaparaoa Peninsula. I'm lucky as my flat looks out over the water back towards the city so I often get the Navy parking in one of the local bays and get the Seasprites buzzing around so seeing the NH90s is a little unusual.
