I see the Australian based Hurricane is for sale. Shame if it leaves Australia as she's only been there since 2015 or so and had some nice work done prior to flying there. Link to sale ad: HERE

It would not be such a shame if it left Aussie to come here

Word out today that the Hurricane has been sold to a buyer in the UK. No word yet on who the buyer is or its proposed fate - remain single seater or conversion to dual seater. No doubt more information will come to hand in the near future.

Was due to fly at the Covid cancelled Brisbane show which I was going to attend, never got to see her fly, managed to snag her at Pay's a few years back.

The Hurricane has surfaced again, photographed in front of the hangar at Sywell in the UK today. G-ORGI is apparently the UK registration it has been given, but that may not be for long. Talk by UK warbird followers is that it is only with Air Leasing at Sywell to get checked out after reassembly and to have any modifications made (eg communications, ADS-B) required by EASA for operation on mainland Europe as it is going to a European owner/operator.

That's nice to see the rego G-ORGI reapplied - when purchased by the late Charles Church that was her registration and was allocated from 1989 to 1991.
Hopefully we get to see her and P3351 in formation over mainland Europe. Wouldn't that be a sight!
