She flies! '558 completed a satisfactory 34 minute flight Thursday 18th October (UK Time) well done to all involved in this truely immense project.

It's certainly a great achievement from an engineering point of view. I hope the huge cost and effort will be worth it for the short period it will be in the air. Think h\ow many more interesting warbirds could have been restored for the cost of this one jet. Still, it seems it is a popular machine so I hope people take advantage of seeing it in the air while they can before it's grounded again.
