Hello all,
I have created this new board to welcome the many people out there who like to make models of RNZAF aircraft.
Please feel free to ask questions about and discuss things such as paint schemes, plans, RNZAF modifications, model brands, scales, and any related topics. Also radio control stuff is welcome. And please feel free to post photos of your RNZAF models.
I want to add that other aircraft modelling topics are also welcome, from NZ civil register aircraft to RAAF, RAF, USAF, Axis stuff, modern, etc. But we'd primarily love to see NZ topics if possible. Cheers. I hope you enjoy the board.

Well the best model I've made is an 1/48 MH-60G Spec Ops Backhawk.....me thinks it may not be of the flavour of this board..

Hey, bung it up anyway. Just find some 'tie-in'. The RNZAF did discuss buying Blackhawks when the Aussies did...there you go!

Nice looking bulletin board... hopefully I'll think of something RNZAF related to ask about from time to time. I've got a couple of Hasegawa Scooters to finish using Gecko Graphics decals and a Tamiya Mosquito I thought I'd finish using NZ markings.

One of my pet projects is collecting and modelling the complete set of RNZAF Aircraft types. I have completed about 80 % of types and have many more awaiting assembly - including some really interesting and rare kits (I suggest regular scanning of e-bay - its amazing what comes up for sale!) However if anyone sees a 1/72 beech King Air, Miles Aerovan or SAro Cutty Sark, Let me know! ;D
