From NZ Teletext tonight
Qantas To Restrict Disabled Fliers Qantas is to turn away passengers using electric wheelchairs on three types of aircraft from February.
The airline says cargo doors on its Boeing 737, 717 and Aerospace 146 planes are too small to fit some electric chairs safely.
It said staff members have been injured trying to work around the problem.

I'm sure this ban won't affect the severly disabled who can only use electric wheelchairs; it's probably aimed more at the elderly who have electric chairs, but who don't need them during the flight and can have them carried in the hold.

Bruce, don't be so silly! Males have been known to steal stuff, so there is no way that males will be travelling in the hold. Males will be way out on the wing somewhere, away from all temptations.
