I'll get the official waypoint photos from my accomplice Noel Bailey. The route was raglan - TeMata- Kawhia-Taharoa-Marakopa village-Marakopa falls - Waitomo- Te Kawa West- Hansens Airstrip, Budden rd- Pirongia- Karamu Limeworks - Raglan.

Leg 1 - Leave Raglan airfield and track to Te Mata
Q 1 - Waypoint ID - what unusual structure is in the school Te Mata playground?
Leg 2 - Track to Kawhia Township
Q 2 - Enroute question – How many rows of buoys are in the Marine farm immediately east of Aotea Village?
Q 3 - Waypoint ID – how many tennis courts beside the Kawhia Bowling club?
Q 4 - General Knowledge – what object is buried between the two rock markers on the small mound west of the Marae (note – not visible from air, background knowledge question)
Leg 3 - Track to Taharoa Iron Sands airfield – CAUTION POSSIBLE TRAFFIC.
Q 5 - Enroute question – How many white painted water tanks are on the hill above Taharoa village?
Q 6 - Waypoint ID (Caution antenna mast) What colour is the Taharoa Ironsands weather and comms tower beside the heliport?
Leg 4 - Track to Marakopa Village
Q 7 - Enroute question – describe the two shipping markers visible on the headlands to the south of Taharoa
Q 8 - waypoint ID – what colour is the roof of the Marakopa clubhouse at the Sports reserve?
Leg 5 - Follow the Marakopa River upstream to Marakopa falls.
Q 9 - Enroute question – How many times does the main Marakopa – Waitomo road cross the main river before the waterfalls
Q 10 - Waypoint ID – estimate the height of the Marakopa Falls main drop of the waterfalls
Leg 6 - Follow the main road to Waitomo Caves Village.
Q 11 - Waypoint ID - Approx 1 Mile Northeast of the caves is Woodlyn Park – identify the Aviation related artefact at this site.
Leg 7 - From Woodlyn Park track to a bridge across the Puniu river near Te Kawa West

Leg 9 - Track towards Pirongia township
Q 14 - Waypoint ID – draw the shape of the armed Constabulary Redoubt (fort) prominent in the town, - round, square, triangular, oval
Leg 10 - Track towards the disused Karamu Lime works - S37 54 10.6 E175 05 53.5
Q 15 - Enroute question – part way along this leg you fly over a school – how many car parks are visible on the northern side entrance?
Q 16 - Waypoint ID lime works – how many lime / cement Silos are located beside the main building?
Leg 11 - Track from here back to Raglan airfield

If any pilots want to print this and have a go, you'll find it goes through some pretty impressive scenery.
The Rally was won by George Richards in Falco SMR. he scored an almost perfect run of answers and was only a few minutes out in his estimated time. the amazing thing is he got the height of the waterfall to within 2 FEET! (he claims he worked it out by running the wheels over the top...)
