Hi gents Well, something a little different. I have been working on this for my Son Cameron instead of the Mossie. But a right A*#$$ to build. I think I must have got a dudd as the plastic was very rubbery and I got lots of reactions in the paint. It took lots of spraying with Mr Surfacer and gentle rubbing back to a smooth surface. The upper and lower fuse halves were different sizes too! Never mind. Nothing like a ton of superglue and MEK to fix it........I tell you, it wont break now!! Actually............come to think about it, Cameron wont be playing with it either, I think it is display only now! Hope you all like it so far Cheers Anyway, hope you like it so far. I am part way through filling Gromit and the other bits. Nearly ready to prime them now.

That is cool!! Well done Anthony. Who makes the kit?
I recall a few months back someone on Hyperscale was scratchbuilding models from Tintin, and they were cool too. No doubt there'll be kitset releases of Tintin models soon when Peter Jackson's film is made.

Thanks mate
Airfix makes the kit and they also do the motorcycle with sidecar as well as the Antipesto van. I think I will concentrate on the Mossie once this is finished as it has been hard work doing this.
I see there is another new 30 min film coming out at the end of the year. A "who Doughnut" where Wallace has converted his place into a breadmaking facility!
You are right I am sure there will be Tintin models after the movie also.
Cheers Anthony

Nice work, Anthony, but you've missed off the airscoop on the lower port fuselage... also the Airfix kit is actually 6 scale mm too short in length; most of this length is just behind the cockpit opening, so you need to cut the fuse just behind here and add in the length, well that's what I did on mine. Not sure about that red shade either, probably needs a touch of purple... See ya!
