Hey All I recently purchased the venerable Academy 1/48 Spitfire FR Mk XIVe Special Sdition with Cartograph decals which are similar to Eaglestrike or Aeromaster brands. There are 7 options in the kit but I'm only planning to keep/use 3 as I have a preference for British markings. All these markings are 1944/45 & latter for overseas deployment or foreign countries as follows: 1: Royal Indian Air Force, Indo-Pakistan War 1947-49 2: # 2 Sqn, # 2 Wing. Belgian Air Force 1947-50 3: Royal Thai Air force 1949 (sorry that's all the kit has - it's vague) 4: CF-GMZ exTZ138, Cleveland Air Race 1949. 5: # 4 Sqn, Royal Indian Air Force (SEAC markings ) I may actually use the Belgian option as it's attractive but undecided, will suppliment them with markings for and SEAC bird (temperate scheme with white bands & spinner). All these aircraft apart from the one metioned just above are Silver finish with different colour spinners, wingtips & antiglare panels but regardless they look pretty awesome. I'm giving them away as I know I won't use them in future, most are insignia's and squadron codes. No nose art. Let me know if you want one/any and I'll get them your way.
