If I were you, I'd try the New Zealand Herald. They used to have a magazine called the Weekly News and I know they have a great archive of photos taken round Auckland over a period of many years, and they used to cover quite a lot about TEAL. Good luck with the search!

post 17? shows a plane on the hard then a dark building. The next building is the Pan Am building, then the TEAL terminal. the cut building on the right seems to be the TEAL workshop. This is according to 2 photos obtained from the National Library digital collection. One view is of the back of the TEAL buildings 2.6meg taken in 1939, the other is an aerial shot showing the fronts but it is 17meg taken in 1949.

There are some interesting photographs HERE, HERE and HERE on the Auckland Council website. Early TEAL and Tourist Air Travel stuff at Mechanics Bay.

A question for kiwithrottlejockey. Ref the aerial view photo in your post of Jan 30 this year. Do you know where I could obtain a poster size print of this picture? I have seen one in a store but it is mounted on a frame. My brother in Australia is keen for a copy in his office but a large mounted picture gets a bit expensive to mail him. I thought if I could obtain a poster size and put it in a tube, the postage might be a bit cheaper. Thanks, Rex.

I saw that photograph on a Facebook group (I think from memory it was called Old Auckland or Historic Auckland, or something like that). So I grabbed it and posted it to this group, as I thought people would be interested in seeing it. The photograph wasn't credited to anybody, so I don't know where it originally came from.
I seem to recall there were a number of aviation-related photographs on the group in question.
