Hi all Just finished my 1/72 Airfix Lizzie. Out of the box with some limited weathering. Only have about 10 minutes a day to build so the project has bee draging. Good to finish something for a change. And here is my next project. When finished it will be an SAAF Puma. Airfix 1/72 Hopefully it will represent this Puma we trained on back in 1987. I was a "brown" or PBI... ;D

Nice work Marcus. The Lysander is a very interesting aircraft. I'm looking forward to seeing your Puma finished too.

So thats what a finished Lysander looks like! Been struggling with the Matchbox 1/32 version. It's winning Currently between bouts on the thing, working on a Hustler which is much easier....

Is that a South African Puma ? The undercarriage sponson is different from those used by the British .

Hi all Yep it is a SAAF Puma. The SAAF modified the sponsons so that they could attach popout floatation devices for overwater operations. Have a look at the following pic. It should give you an idea of what I am getting at.
