Looks like my lights were off that night Stu - my house is in the middle of the second photo somewhere. Did you have your fog lights on this day Leo? ;D

The house with the green roof below the pine tree next to the Warehouse sign is my neighbour, so not quite visible but very nearly!

Nice ones, that last one with the moon is especially eye catching.

In the second shot the cloud cover looks a bit like the surface of Mars! Very unusual.

It was a weird night that one with the clouds! For that 2nd photo, behold the red planet!

Sunset in Wairarapa was behind the clouds this evening. However, I took the following dusk shots of a golden sky at Carterton while stopped there offloading passengers (I was driving a train from Wellington to Masterton).... The next two photographs were taken from near Clareville. The lighting conditions weren't too good by then and a locomotive travelling at speed isn't a very stable photographic platform, so I used a sports action mode to compensate and this was the result.... It got even more colourful after that, but the light was definitely too dim to take photographs from a moving locomotive so I gave it away and concentrated on driving the train.

Those Clareville shots are stunning Bruce. They almost look three dimensional. Well done.

Found while reorganising some folders. A couple taken while enjoying fish and chips at Waitarere Beach on Easter weekend ..... Chevy in the Sunset. Trained stunt seagull. Cheers, Stu.
